NEWS: Christian Horner set to buy 24% of the Alpine F1 Team
According to AMuS, the former Red Bull team boss has assembled an investor consortium to purchase a significant stake, reportedly 24%, in the struggling team, with a deal valued at around $763 million.
Horner is said to want major decision-making power, not just a team principal role. Alpine, last in the 2025 constructors’ standings, is entering a new era with Mercedes engines and major 2026 rule changes.
If the deal goes through, Horner’s arrival would likely lead to major management changes, with Flavio Briatore’s future at the team uncertain.
