Well I sat through the press conference waiting for the public apology and all I heard was "I apologised to Lewis he is the only one that counts so I don't answer to you". Or words to that effect.
I go the impression that he was pleased with himself rather than contrite.

Yeah, I don't get the impression he's sorry, but that's neither here nor there. I can't wait to hear the boo'ing at his next podium... though I'm not convinced the Austrians will boo him.

It should do, I have been using it for 6 weeks already, appears to be up 24/7.

Here is an HD link too if you have the bandwidth:
Acestream - 1080p - SkyF1 - ENG 3fe81a6abda4fa2574e11672f613dea23c362928

It is very slow to start though so I suspect it wont be too reliable in SA.

Not a bad start to the weekend for the new Honda engine. No reliability issues so far and competitive top speed imo

Horner critical of ‘disingenuous’ Sainz

Red Bull team boss Christian Horner is not particularly happy with Carlos Sainz putting himself in the shop window for the 2018 season.

Sainz revealed to the press on Thursday that it was “unlikely” he would remain at Toro Rosso for a fourth year, with rumours of a move to McLaren gathering pace.

However, following the conclusion of FP1 in Spielberg, Horner disclosed some contract details about the Spaniard.

“We’ve taken the option on Carlos Sainz and he will be in a Toro Rosso next year,” Horner said to Sky Sports F1.

“It makes no sense loaning him out. I don’t know where he thinks he’ll be next year.

“It’s a bit disingenuous saying stuff like that. Without Red Bull he wouldn’t be in Formula 1.”

Sainz’s ultimate aim is to be driving for Red Bull, but Horner also confirmed that the opportunity would not be there for him next season.

He added: “Our plans for next year is that our cars will have the same numbers on them next year. Both drivers will be with us 100 per cent.”

So according to Supersport.com, Hamilton is going to collect a 5 place grid penalty for a gearbox change.

Looks like it.

Lewis Hamilton will receive a five-place grid penalty for Sunday's Austrian Grand Prix as a result of an unauthorised gearbox change.

Teams must run a gearbox for six consecutive events but Hamilton's was changed before that period had expired.

Stewards have not confirmed the penalty but Hamilton's Mercedes team have accepted it is inevitable.

It is a blow to Hamilton's attempts to close the championship deficit to Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel.

On Friday, Hamilton was fastest in the second practice session, ahead of title rival Vettel.

Seeing a lot of cars running with all four wheels over the white line through some of the high speed corners. They were very strict on that last year but so far, haven't mentioned it this weekend. Are they more lenient with the new spec cars you think?

Nah, they just don't know what they're doing as usual (FIA/Race Stewards) :p
I say bring back gravel traps.

They are trying to judge by the standards set by the Vettel ruling and they don't have a penalty small enough for leaving the track :)
