MCLAREN OUT ON TRACK AGAIN
McLaren is finally doing some running after completing a full power unit change.
Oliver Turvey is out on track.

HAMILTON SIX TENTHS CLEAR FROM THE REST

Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton has set the fastest time on the opening day of the in-season test at Bahrain International Circuit this week.

He posted a 1:31.358, which opened up a six tenths gap to the rest of the field.

McLaren managed to do only 17 laps after a full power unit change was needed due to a water leak in the Energy Recovery Systems.

Red Bull Racing did just 45 laps after Daniel Ricciardo stopped in Turn 1 in the afternoon.

The Pirelli test will be extended by three hours until 9pm for Sebastian Vettel due to earlier mechanical problems that limited running.

Its a Team Sport, deal with team orders !
It isn't a team sport. It's an engineering sport. Team orders should not be allowed in F1. At a stage Botas showed that he is actually faster than Hamilton.

Agree, team orders suck though having two different strategies is a different story.

Force India are a team worthy of being bought out by a one of the larger motor companies in the world. Merc would be so tempted to adopt a B team right now like Ferrari and Red Bull have.

Woo hoo. Honda ftw!

Oh, wait, Honda's a team is already their b team.

Must be bad if they're crying that much.

It's not yet clear what happened to him.
