Facebook reveals user data requests

Facebook revealed Friday it received between 9,000 and 10,000 requests for user data from US authorities in the second half of last year, as it seeks to shield itself from a growing scandal.

Well... Their people 5h1t in their pants if the gov is seen as unable to gather info after each successful attack...

Personally I more or less avoid social media. I have nothing to hide, but I have just come to see the inevitability of this type of thing and I like my privacy.

Yeah, except those were public requests. If this NSA/PRISM scandal is true, then they have access to data that is marked as private... '10000 data requests' that you would have been denied, even if you made them... Oh well, at least you still managed to beat two trees
