Facebook to launch new media service

Facebook will announce a media platform allowing its 750 million users to share their favorite music, TV shows and movies, effectively making the profile page a primary entertainment hub.
Facebook has not revealed its plans, but the company is widely expected to announce the service at its F8 developers conference in San Francisco on Thursday, the New York times reported.
Facebook users' profile pages will be used to display entertainment that user is currently consuming.

What's the bet this will only be for the US?

F...I wish I invested in this when I had the chance, I mean lets just guess their IPO?

This sounds like one of those things that will either be loved, or hated. Either way, they will probably offer it the US only at first, to make them feel all 'exclusive' like, great marketing material lol...

Anyway this company has a good future, lets see how long it lasts.
