Factorio game review

AFAIK the game has never and will never go on special something the dev's have been quite adamant about.

I see so,

Pricing history:

Feb 25, 2016 – Oct 1, 2017 = R220
Oct 2, 2017 – Apr 15, 2018 = R140
Apr 16, 2018 – Oct 10, 2020 = R170

IRRC, the RimWorld devs said the same, their price history is more or less the same as Factorio’s.

Then next month both titles drop in the Humble Bundle :whistling:

This means it is easy on your PC, and the recommended requirements are below:

  • Windows 7, 8, 10
  • Quad-core 3.0GHz CPU
  • 8GB RAM
  • GeForce GTX 750 Ti / Radeon R7 360 GPU (2GB VRAM and DirectX 11).
  • 3GB storage
In summary: fun to play, challenging, easy on your PC, and R170 on Steam.

That isn't "easy on your PC":

Among Us system requirements:
  • OS: Windows 7 SP1+
  • Processor: SSE2 instruction set support
  • Memory: 1 GB RAM
  • DirectX: Version 10
  • Storage: 250 MB available space

Can't be odder than my lists. haha.

I play games like Nekopara and various other visual novels similar to these, but I don't do the uhm, you know.

I was actually surprised once to see a Sakura bundle drop on Humble, a bit unexpected.

It is very hard to compare Factorio to other games because it is dissimilar to similar genre titles. I would, however, pick RimWorld over Factorio.
Both are very good, both are huge time-consumers.

Both are very good, both are huge time-consumers.

For me, it is about co-op experience. Playing this alone is like being in solitude. I must say, I haven't played multiplayer in a while now. The strange thing with this pandemic, there was less 'real' people to play games with.

Anyone up for some multi-player factorio?

Not pvp though, I am still too much of a noob

What's your record science per minute?

Once I have more time available, well when things normalise, I will take it under consideration

House flipper is better

That is a dump. I hope Hardspace: Shipbreaker matures, the game is still in early development, but I would like to see them get rights to popular spaceships which you may salvage.

Game pass is R159 a month
And I can play a new premium game every month
