Failed - Network error when I download attachments

Hi all.
Something's up with my downloads and I can't for the life of me find an answer.
Everything was working fine, all updates done, no additional apps installed.. just another day in the office.. until now
For some reason, when I click on an attachment to download using Chrome, it "starts" to download, then hangs a bit and then gives me a "Failed - Network error" message. Clicking on "resume download" sometimes works but more often than not, it doesn't. If I switch to Edge browser it is much "better" but on occasion will fail as well.
Any ideas would be helpful

I had a similar problem a little while ago.
Tried Firefox and that worked ok.
So I uninstalled chrome, reinstalled and problem was gone :)
