Howzit Gents,

The new season is almost upon us and so is the new Fantasy Premier League.

I've created a new Mybroadband League for us.

The League code is: 68743-19252

I'm going to try and organise some prizes with RPM for the players who finish in the top 3. Hopefully he comes to the party :D

EDIT: RPM has promised us a tablet or something equivlant for first prize. Second and third possibly branded gear:D

I've just noticed that they've added a new element this year, "chips".

In essence you now have 4 chips ( wild card, all out attack, triple captain, bench boost).

I'm sure regular players are familiar with the wild card chip. this allows you to make an unlimited amount of transfers in a single game week and there is no points deduction as a result.

All out attack chip allows you to select a 2-5-3 formation for a gameweek.
Triple Captain ensures that your captain's points are tripled as opposed to the regular double.
Bench Boost - your bench scores full points for the game week ( previously bench received zero points)

Clarification on these chips:

Can I use more than one chip in the same Gameweek?
No, only one chip may be active in a Gameweek. For example, it is not possible to make transfers with your Wildcard chip and then use your Bench Boost chip in the same Gameweek.

What happens to my All Out Attack chip if automatic substitutions change my formation?
The chip is still played. If you use your All Out Attack chip to select a 2-5-3 formation and a midfielder or forward doesn't play then the bonus is lost, the chip isn't returned.

What happens to my Triple Captain chip if my captain doesn't play?
The triple points bonus will be passed to your vice-captain. If your vice-captain doesn't play either then the bonus is lost, the chip isn't returned.

The one thing that I can't find on the site is how many chips you receive for the season. Right now, I'm assuming one.
 
Damn, setting up my team is a mission, seriously hard to get a decent team together. It's all but impossible to get Sanchez, Hazard, Costa and another 10M striker in the same team.

yes, but is the the extra 2m justified when you can get someone like costa? will he give you that much more points?

I use him as my captain on most days so it works out because if he doesn't score, he pops up with an assist
I hate Costa lol
