Farm Attacks

Surely when an activist against farm murders gets murdered on her farm, it is enough to raise alarm bells within government as to the high incidence of farm killing in order to prioritise combating farm murders.

On second thought, who am I kidding here? Our guffmunt, among the hundreds of ministers, does not even have two brains cells to rub together.

Why? Not even the national soccer teams captain being murdered led anywhere.

I don't buy into the white genocide stuff, but I have accepted that we do not have a functional police force. They are corrupt, inept, too few and severely underfunded. It's just general lawlessness that is causing this. My husband and I are arming ourselves as I expect this level of lawlessness to start seeping even more into more densely populated areas.

Let's break it down:
Are farmers being targeted by criminals?
yes
Are farm attacks brutal?
yes
Are most of farmers being attacked white?
yes
Are they racially motivated?
well... yes, even if it's due to other reasons like most farmers are white.

Just because the rest of south africa is so f'ed up murder rate wise doesn't make it any better.

Yes, ANC party members are busy killing each other in KZN for tenders.

Is Government the ones targeting farmers? I don't know, I have no evidence and do my best not to make wild accusations without some form of hard evidence.
 
Two of the big three parties in SA vilify white land owners and call in to question the legality of their land ownership. These parties also go to great lengths drawing parallels between white land ownership and black poverty.

Government doesn't have to do anything direct other than cultivate an environment where there is animosity and it will take care of itself.

Went to lay a theft charge on Monday for work. Chat with the cop told me just how frustrated they are. They went from 50 cops in 08 per shift (not nearly enough for the area) to 10...

I can almost for certain guarantee you this island won't turn out to be a place where SA people want to move to.
Also not sure for how long the island wil exist before it gets stolen....
 
Cop killed while chasing house robber on Stellenbosch farm

A policeman was killed while pursuing a house robber on a Stellenbosch farm, Western Cape police said on Thursday.
The constable, aged 31, had been part of the Stellenbosch Crime Prevention Unit, said police spokesperson Captain FC van Wyk.

On Wednesday, police received information about the planned house robbery but they didn't know the name of the farm.

It is estimated that 16 809 incidences of murder occurred in 2017/18, which is an increase of 4% compared to the previous year. Usually VOCS figures are higher than SAPS figures because not all crime incidents are reported to the police. This is not the case for murder, where SAPS figures are double the VOCS figures. Not all murders are known to households, for example murders of immigrants or street people, which is one of the reasons that SAPS figures are higher than those of VOCS.
