From reading the article, this is farm invaders whose land claim was rejected by the commission ANYWAY.

The police force need to come in and arrest all 100 of these invaders in my opinion. The land belongs to a different set of people.

I think he means that what's worrying is the attitude of the people.

Where else in the world do people march onto someone's farmland and demand it be handed over? I may be way off the mark but currently only one place springs to mind.

Yes, but in all of those instances they took the land to actually farm it. Not die of hunger because they are lazy(not unskilled or undersupplied but lazy!)

Farming is easy, but it's HARD work.

This b.t.w is exactly like zim, try to take over a farm in lets say in the usa or europe or asia and you'll quite likely be shot by the farmer, police and the military.

something that annoys me even more than that is the way the word "liberal" has become a degrading noun for anyone somebody doesn't like.

it's okay for it to be worrying, it can still be an interesting discussion, just when people think of zim they think of how hard done the whites were and how terrible it is when white people are kicked off farms. people are going to be on the lookout for any indication of a farm invasion now just so they can shout "told you so!". i might have been a bit too hasty in mocking it, but it feels too much like people get trigger-happy when searching the news.

i won't defend this government or the bad things happening in this country, but we can't exaggerate stories and be so desperate to look for a conspiracy because of one country's failures

Its a small step from a few guys invading a farm to countrywide farm invasions. Especially with people like malema there to encourage them. You seem to underestimate the power of mob mentality.
