Faster, better Wi-Fi is coming

Faster is always good, but if everyone around you is also using it, it acts like a Ferrari stuck in rush hour traffic.

I am talking about competing for spectrum from neighboring non-related access points.

My super-duper 802.11ac router slowed down so much because everyone and his dog has Wi-Fi in the vicinity, that I had to go the powerline route for a stable network.

AC doesn't have very good penetration, how are you getting interference from your neighbors?
Or are you talking about the 2.4Ghz which is 802.11n?
