So, with my recent phone upgrade from a P8 to a P10 lite, the fitbit (spit) app no longer works.

Fitbit's attitude can be summed up by: "Get another phone". So **** those guys.

What are thoughts on a Tomtom spark/runner 3 cardio? Any experience with them? Do they work with a Huawei p10 lite? (I saw it's certified on a p8 lite - which also doesn't work on a spitbit)....

What do you want to track? Just steps? What is your level of activity? What sports do you partake in?

Also a bit expensive. I'm really less interested in smart watch features. My phone is intrusive enough as it is without it also buzzing my damn wrist all the time.

:crylaugh: My watch only buzz when I sit too long, then tells me to MOVE. Use the GPS feature mostly when paddling. And the stargazing app at night. :D

You know I made the same switch recently.

Opted for the Garmin VivoActive HR.

Basically I just want to track steps, HR, sleep and get a general idea of calories (I track religiously via spreadsheet and MyFitnessPal as well). GPS is a bonus for going on occasional runs (Tend to stick to HIIT sprints)

Very happy so far.
Build quality is better than Fitbit.
Even though bit bulkier it is still very comfortable.
HR and sleep tracking is pretty much on par with Fitbit.
Calorie tracking via app is way off on Garmin but that will even out with my spreadsheet tracking over time.
Waterproof is a massive bonus. Was so frustrating having to take off the Fitbit for every shower.
Battery life is better on Garmin. And that says a lot with a bigger, constantly-on and colour watch face.

App wise you do have to go looking around a bit for Garmin things. Where the Fitbit was really all in one place and easier to navigate. But once you are set up and know what you want to look at and where to find it, it is not an issue.

Thanks for the feedback. The Vivoactive is a bit more expensive than the tomtom... Is it worth the extra do you think? (R209pm vs R139 pm)
