Hi all. I just have a quick question regarding a new TV I bought in August. The TV works perfectly and really love it but I think the speaker or a component of the speaker is either blown or something. When watching normal tv, the sound is fine, but when I turn up the volume or play something with base or a movie ect there is a trembling sound (almost rattle) from the tv and bass sounds terrible.

I basically want to know, is that still covered under my warranty? The TV was purchased brand new from Makro in August 2012 so it is just under 4 months old. And if they decide to refund me, do they swap out the TV for the same model, give me a credit note for the amount I paid?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Dude, those speakers are mostly 5w-10w,its not meant for big sound.

And no,its not covered under warranty,YOU are damaging them. But you may get lucky with an "entitlement claim".

No there was no rattling noise before. Its not really a rattle sound tho, its hard to explain but I am sure there is something wrong.

@JustAsk - I understand they are small speakers but it doesn't only happen when I put the volume up, I use to play movies just fine (sound wise). The other day my friend pointed it out to me and then I tested it and got the "rattling" sound.

Anyway, I will take it back to Makro (maybe only in the new year as they say they send it away for 14 - 21 days) and see what they say.
