After looking through a lot of threads i made a list of affected areas that ppl have posted as prolematic. Cell C got back to me with a reply saying that they will be looking into some of areas.

The official word from cell c is that if you are having issues in your areas: first check the coverage map to see that you fall under the coverage area and if you do then log a call that you are having an network issue. If you DO NOT fall under an area that is shown as covered; they will be unable to help as they say that it should not have worked in the first place.Cell C has mentioned that during purchase the sales reps should be checking the coverage maps and they advising on purchase after checking the area the client is in. Quote from cell c email: 'Customers sign a document at the store when purchasing the USB Speedstick , that ensures that consultant at the store has shown the customer that their area is covered on the coverage map.'

The areas that are noted as covered that have been mentioned on myBB that cell c will be looking into are as follows (if i missed an area please check the coverage map then log a call/post the area/pm me and try refrain from spamming areas please):
Plumstead
Stellenbosch
Edgemead
Euestria
Waterkloof
Capital Park
Dalsig
Honeydew Ridge
Gordan's Bay
Lynnwood
Moreleta Park
Norscot
Rondebosch
Idas Vallei
Brackenfell
Bellville, CT
Emmarentia
Vredehoek
Wierdapark, Centurion
Parkview
Sunningdale

Areas that have been mentioned on myBB that are not under coverage areas:
Mooikloof
Kirstenhof
Constantia Village
Blairgowrie

My area is covered by map, and just to make sure before i bought i had a cellc guy come out to check signal.
At first it was great :) but the past 3 weeks have been TERRIBLE!

A few posters (myself incl.) mentioned that the Bellairspark & Northriding areas in Randburg, Gauteng are seriously lacking in coverage

The CellC coverage map shows OK coverage, but there isn't

Cell C reception in Summerstrand

Attention IceQB
Any idea if this problem is also in Boardwalk area of Summerstrand?

Just a quick thing i will be noting any posted updates for the areas but if i don't reply to say that i have added it, please don't take it as i am ignoring you. Just don't want to constantly spam 'it's has been added'. And i'm sorry if i missed areas but it took ages to sift through all the areas, so i'm not surprised that i did miss a few.

Hi

You can add Die Hoewes,Centurion. Was working in December but since the second week of January the connection is unstable.

Anyone else in Stellenbosch getting disconnected? I've now been connected for 18 hours with lots of idle time.

@pedruid not that im aware of.
Having this problem in Newton Park, Kempston Road area & the covered Northen areas of PE.

Sunninghill - speeds are ok but getting disconnected every 30 mins to 1 hour.
RSSI: -73

Please add the following area..
South of Johannesburg Linemeyer/The Hill next to Rostenville ongoing without 3G working, signal also fluctuates on daily basis from -81 db to 99 -db....

Was working perfectly 3days ago, will have to check coverage map again once woooooosh works

Update ---- wooooosh now working me and madhawk stay about 3km apart and we were both affected by the down time of the base station in the area...

Also I see some white patches in my area(Assuming I stay on the edge)

The CellC map is too high level to determine whether one's house or workplace is properly covered or not. Or am I not using the map properly?

@iceqb @krono9 @firsttimecaller and any future post when you mention your area could you just mention what the issue is slow speed/disconnecting. Don't need long discription.
eg
Sunninghill - speeds are ok but getting disconnected every 30 mins to 1 hour.

I see that you have waterkloof as a problem area. I work in Waterkloof, and get speeds between 8-14Mbps there, which is really good compared to average results... AN area to add though is Northriding. I have mentioned it, and I have also seen it being mentioned a few times. In a high red coverage zone, but i struggle to get 4-5MB on a local download (1.5-3Mbps seems about average on E1820)

you can add George, western cape too, very unstable

@Cell.C-Guru. Im in Langeberg Ridge Durbanville. -74 . Disconnects often. Last few weeks... its connects.. but NO Data transfer.
