Feedback from Cell C Concerning Affected Areas

You can add Hazeldean next to Silver Lakes, Pretoria-East as well. Bought it on Sat 29 Jan and only worked for two days on HSPA+ although very unstable and with speeds not more than 1.2Mbs. I am back to EDGE now and has not been able to get a HSPA+ connection ever since
 
Boskruin, Randburg. Contant disconnects (0.00 kps). Always seems to work for a while when I first logon, then just fizzles out over next 10 to 15 minutes. Also use in Ferndale Randburg area and never had a problem so far. What the heck's up??!!
 
Hell, I'm getting closer to your figures in Boskruin if you swop Mbps for kbps! That's on two laptops same results (one XP / one Win 7 - same modem).

AN area to add though is Northriding. I have mentioned it, and I have also seen it being mentioned a few times. In a high red coverage zone, but i struggle to get 4-5MB on a local download (1.5-3Mbps seems about average on E1820)

I'm getting disconnected quite often. Sometimes even every 2 minutes. But I don't have very good coverage at the moment and I'm thinking of getting an external antennae.
 
Try the corner reflector first if you don't find it too aesthetically unpleasant.

My connection is still solid. I think Stellenbosch can be removed from the list. Tested in two places over the last few days.

This does not zoom in enough to be of any use, we need a street level map.

Eagle Canyon - constant disconnects, tower swopping, connection dies even with -65dBm HSPA+ showing in MDMA

Lanseria Airport - Covered by EDGE, but often only 5kbps or less.

Steve... I'm in Honeydew Ridge just down the road. My HSPA+ signal is working tonight for the first time in two weeks.
 
Something happened in Hatfield, Pretoria this morning. At about 08:00 it was still dead, now getting DL speeds in excess of 3 Mb/s. I will monitor the situation throughout the day before praising anyone.
 
Norscot, no data downloading this morning, tried about 5 times before I gave up, now connected via MTN :mad:
 
OMB try now, there systems seem to be back online.

U giving 2GB packages 5GB, how about giving 5GB guys 10GB?
