Had a female called Angel109 join our squad today, she played a good game. Anymore girl players out there?
 
Yeah, that's graham109's wife. Apparently they kick series ass as a team.

The only other female player that I am aware of is mystyfaer -- something like that. Oh hang on, I recall that there was a locally based american girl as well - she was in my squad at one point... can't remember what her name was tho.

So that's 3 that I know of, but there are definitely more.
 
Xenophon is quite correct - we play on the SGS servers :)

You can use game monitor to search the servers. If you're looking specifically for War Geeks players, type |WrG| in the 'By Player Name' field, and hit search.

This service is usually a minute or two behind realtime tho, but it's a good indication as to who is on. :)
 
2 true - it's gonna be really difficult for a person like Xeno to enjoy a game without being blasted back to dead every 15 seconds.
Mebbe a noob server is not such a bad idea ... but there's not enough noobs ... and what is a noob ? Aaaarg - not this problem again !
 
Keeps telling me that i have an older version then the server and wont let me connect.
 
Yup - you have to spend an hour and more downloading the 1.12 patch.
And then - if you buy Special Forces, you have to unapply the patch before installing SF. LOL.

280 MB of downloading bliss ... ROFFEL - remeber to login/register before attempting the download.
Use a good download manager.

P.S. If you know somebody that's bought Special Forces, this patch is on that CD.

1.12 is not on the sf disk!

If you try to enter a BF2 game [Server I or II] then it will close SF and open BF2 and enter you into the BF2 playing field like that.

I suspect that you are in SF and trying to enter a SF game cos you were getting the same error I was getting - something about my version is too high and I should go back a version or something.

[EDIT]AARG - I'm not sure if that SF CD does have 1.12. it may be 1.11 which is causing the problems.[/edit]

I had to uninstall SF and BF2. Clean them out of the registry. Then install BF2 - DON'T PATCH IT - install SF [which patches to 1.something] - then patch up to 1.12 - then all worked fine.

It's annoying.
