Female BF2 Players

In options - select the 256 or better network option instead of T1/LAN.
It seems to be more efficient.
Play on less full servers.
Use a bulk bandwidth provider like WebAfrica/All You Can Eat.
Play less often [me smacks meself for that one].

Ok, I'll do that!

I only play on the SGS servers (I'm using a shaped account).

I work for an ISP, so I buy in bulk!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

well yes... but when you join a squad and the one guy is telling the other guy about something thats growing on his toe... and the other guy is going on how he got some chick pregnant... your burning bandwidth

hey, about feeling like a n00b --- I have been playing for a while now, and am halfway to segeant, but I am still getting gaffed regularly and being made to feel like a total n00b.

I managed a few badges as well, the n00b badge was by far the easiest ;)

Hey tg. Its Mistyfae, she often seemed to squad with Fixate. Now she's MerC. So MerC Mistyfae. She's an average player, a solid squaddie.
I hate it when peeps abuse the voip. Blah, blah. It's got to be almost as annoying as me spamming a thread :D

Yeah that's how i got my purple heart.

Can't say that I've humped a female bf2 player.

My wife doesn't count. She doesn't play battlefield.

thanks guys, I had a super cool game last night... but getting 10 kills in a round as a sniper is proving to be difficult for me ...

Per round though, i score more playing as a medic than anything else, I also die a lot more often.

Any advice on the sniper badge story you BF2 Yodas? and not... fly with asault and gun gun gun

EDIT :: That said, would you still get a badge for sniper if you tanked or gunned 10 people from the chopper? (i think so, but need to be sure)

I know the feeling... the trick with being a sniper is patience. Also cover is important, you're in a gile suit for a reason. When taking cover, long grass is the best... don't sit at the peak of a hill and peep over, you're creating a nice silhouette. Rather go down infront of the hill in the long grass, prone there and wait. Also don't sit under bushes etc. it's the first place people will shoot.

Move after you've killed 1 or 2 people.

Oh, and although roof tops seem like a good idea, it's often better to stay on the ground. If you do climb on a roof though, lay a claymore at the top of the ladder for anyone who might try come get you.

The trick to improving your kill / death ratio is armour and aroplanes. You die less and kill more.

Patience, don't rush into situations, keep away from other players on your team and know the maps.

I beleive it's 10 kills playing that class in one round, so yes.

craigsa, hope to see you on the SGS 1 ranked server...whats your alias?

Battlefield 2 looooves bandwidth. It looks like a constant 16Kbs. About 50-100mb a round.

Howzit mate have not done it yet. :)

Carlhead - Thanks for the pointers.

Yeah, most of that stuff make perfect sense now seeing it in black and white (depending on your style sheet)

I must say that lurking, sqeezing off a few rounds and them relocating is a good way to play.

I have also come to realise that at close range, I am under-utilizing the silenced pistol. It's so nice and quiet.

Also, I am beginning to get to know the maps which helps a great deal.

Happy Gaming Bud.

No problem,

I recomend the peninsula (the one with the TV station) for getting to your sniper badge... it's an easy map to snipe on, just stay on the outskirts.

I need a new graphics card... who can make a recomendation? I only have AGP in this machine.

Edit: Avoid the knife, as tempting as it is... rather use the pistol. (I'll only use the knife to ge thte knife badge)

Good news; the patch (1.2) will introduce the following changes:

No jumping and shooting at the same time (to stop bunny hoppers)
No dolphin diving
No prone spamming
Fixed sprint exploit
