While I wait for my new fiber router to be delivered by WebAdrica does anyone know if my old one will work with fiber in the interim?
It's a Netgear DGN2200Mv2

I can enable a WAN port on port 4 and switch DHCP off.

Anything I don't know ?

I might just work, but remember that Vumatel works on the MAC address and when you get your new router, they will have to release it, so is it really worth the troubles? :D

I didn't know that. Thanks. Probably not worth it then.

Wouldn't that MAC address apply to the fiber router only which is already installed and not the modem itself?

It applies to the device initiating the PPPoE which is the router not the ONT.
