Hi guys,
I got a bit of a question. My friend does fiber installs and trenching etc. So we kind of help each other out when need be. I do network installs and use 90% mikrotik equipment to manage my networks at client on site.
He is trenching and installing fiber thru out a very big new residential estate. He has asked me to get involved and handle around 80 housing units with a ONT device and mikrotik at each house. Then in our server room we will be having a bigger mikrotik where all of the fiber will terminate.
Now my question is not really on how we will have connectivity from each house to the server room but rather would I need some sort of a ECN or ESN license to provide these users with fiber internet access. Since we have a link to two different providers right outside the Estate. I would really appreciate your input on this as this is a 24month guaranteed deal for me.
