Why are you even having dstv in the first place? use netflix like a normal human being
No, DStv can be distributed through fibre.. plenty of the newly built apartment complexes opt for this route..dstv now would be the closest you going to get

What he said was that, DStv now is the closest thing you can get to DStv when using fibre, which is not the case as DStv can be distributed through fibre..Pretty sure that's what he was referring to, as DSTV Now is a streaming service.
No sir, that would be Supersport 3 for the Premier League.Personally don't have DSTV, cause I'm a normal human being who only watches movies and series, but correct me if I'm wrong, you only get Supersport on the premium package?
Edit: Just had a look, you do get sport channels on the lower packages, but not supersport 1, where most of the good action is.

By the Power of Bold(ness)! Its amazing how people miss construe a question. At no time was it asked "should you or shouldn't you have DSTV", that's personal! The question was, would it be better to upgrade to fibre rather than replace tired coaxial as a form of cabling. Further, It was also asked, are there any benefits to go the fibre route! It has been rumoured that DSTV are going more the digital with faster downloads. I am sure we all know about steaming directly from a Router, that not the question. There will be DSTV for a long while to come as the rural areas all use dishes.
