Fibre gurus Help

And now this internet is very slow now. wow. 1Gbs super slow. It is a struggle to upload a picture.

Everything points to MTU. But it doesn’t seem to be that. You changed all your interfaces back to 1500 MTU and cleared that Mangle rule right? It’s not routing either or firewalls.

Try connect your PC directly to the Vumatel CPE (might need a reboot of the CPE) and see if you see any improvement in speed and access to this site?

Alright i will do just that and see if it changes.

So i tried connecting to the ONT directly. It is the same story.

This is an interesting one. Checked MTU and DNS and eliminated router.

Are you using Chrome? Check the developer console to see if any particular errors are being logged? Maybe a certain resource is being blocked. (Right click anywhere on the failed page and click on inspect). The interface is a little overwhelming- but it’s fairly easy to spot errors (they’re in red). If a resource from a different URL is failing, check to see if you can ping that url.

SO vox finally managed to fix it. It turns out you were right. it was a combination of MTU like you mentioned and i think firewall (IP) i think. They were talking about the range was too high on the MTU i think. They changed some stuff and now it is on 1480 like you mentioned earlier. Then somehow my Ip address was being blocked by a firewall. i do not know how that was possible. But they mainly changed the MTU settings like you mentioned and now all my sites are working perfectly Fine. Thank you so much. I really appreciate the help. I will also keep note of this in case i go through a problem like this again.
