Hi All,

I recently moved to a new building in Century City. There is a fibre point in my lounge and the developers ensured me that the fibre was active (I don't know how to verify this).

All the ISPs are telling me it will take 4-6 weeks (but then again Cool Ideas where the only one whose answers implied that they actually read my mail)

Should this process take 4-6 weeks considering the fact I already have a fibre point in my apartment? They said there there were a few handover procedures that need to take place that causes the wait. Does anyone know what they are?

Thanks in advance.

Are you in Century View or Waterstone Isles?

Neither. However I was given the timeline without them knowing what exact building. My last update they were trying to find out if my building is covered by frog foot or if they need to go via Century City Connect. I thought Century City Connect used Frog foot. So am a bit confused as to the setup in the area.

Century City Connect and Frogfoot stand separately.

CCC have their ISPs.

Frogfoot have their ISPs.

You didn't contact is when you contacted all the ISPs. Maybe you missed us. Who knows. If you were to PM me the name of the complex, I'll ask our CCC and Frogfoot liaisons to make some enquiries.

Thanks makes sense.

Yeah sorry "All" was misleading. I meant all the ones I asked, which in reality was not that many.
