Enough is enough. I've made my peace with him before. He's just doing the same thing again. He's now on my ignore list for obvious reasons. And I suggest that anyone from here on finding his posts either destructive or annoying do the same.
 
Ok now that we're back on track, something isn't quite clear. What if you take the service for one or two years, can you then just downgrade to 5/1 or is there additional outstanding installation fees? What if you're on month to month option and want to go between the two?

I've never signed any contract with witnesses at the bank. Why do some contracts require witnesses and some don't?

Some people write it into the contract and some don't. It's really as simple as that. There is no explicit requirement that a contract must have witnesses unless the contract is written as such, then it's part of the contract. (There are some specific exceptions where the law requires 2)

Some even require a commissioner of oaths for example because the contract requires it.

The contract does give an example of upgrading where the construction fees will be offset by the new package, so it is reasonable to assume that if you are still within the initial period that the opposite is true. (The balance of the fee will have to be paid).
This will be similar to cellphone contracts with a device. Cellphone contracts also do not specifically address this either (although it's been a few years since I've seen one)

It is reasonable to assume that the connection encryption and security will be the same as any alternative (Dialup, ADSL, 3G, etc.)
If you want better security and privacy than these can offer you would need to look at additional measures such as VPN.

You don't have to worry about that, a contract cannot override a law. The CPA is still valid. The 123Net contract also acknowledges this and states that where any conflict exists the CPA will take precedence.

No it hasn't, there is still no mention of the lone 10Mbit option and the 0/12/24 month pricing

Read again what he wrote. The Website needs to be updated. The pricing is in the service agreement. We know what every package costs.

I did some reading up on this and yes, only certain contracts require witnesses by law. Where witnesses can come in handy is as evidence where the signing of the contract is disputed but as they almost universally only ask for signatures it's usually a futile and unnecessary step.
 
Can anybody please tell me where to send the contract after I completed it?
 
Nou you must send it back. Send it to the email address you received it from.
 
There is a mail address on the form aswell. I sent it to both.
 
Both parties have to complete it and presumably both parties need a copy so how would that pan out?
 
You send it they sign it and send you a copy. How difficult is it to figure that out??

Not difficult but cumbersome. Print, sign, scan, send then print, sign, scan, send again.
