Fibrehoods

Hi All

Just got my Fibrehoods fibre installed and here is my speedtest results:

Using Vox as my provider. Speeds are overall great at the moment.

Mines purring along too nicely for a while now:)

One thing I've been worried about is international up speed varies from server to server I test on. Down is still 100mb, but 'up' seems to vary anything from 2 to 40... they are consistent though, same server that gives 10, gives 10 regardless of time/day... so not sure if its the test server limiting it or vox... will keep testing over few weeks and see
 
Anyone able to setup the Zhone device as a modem rather using the ISPs unit? Any luck logging into the device?

Yea, was very easy. The Zhone is by default in PPPoE Bridge Mode, and the Huawei is what does the actual dialing and routing. Just connect anything to LAN1 and that'll be able able to make the connection itself. Never been able to log into the Zhone, but never needed to.

The fibrehoods website seems to be dead, how do you communicate with them ?

Phone number dead also. And e-mail.

Both phone and email work fine for me. Well, tested mails last time you said they didn't work and mine went through fine. Just dialled number and went through. So... not sure why you having the issues

Phone didn't work and e-mail didn't go through. Will try again.

Have a fibre connection in front of the house, and can't use it.

If I remember correct you had an issue with the portal email reg? If you're still unable to get through pm me your email and I'll report the issue to them and get them to contact you.
