FIFA 14 - PC

yes- usually.

In a career I might switch to semi-passing during a home game against a 5 star team as it can be quite tough, but oh so much more fun. I usually play with longer halves for a more realistic approach as well. Other than that it is always all-manual (only way to truly enjoy this game IMO). The game feels more organic. If you watch actual football you'll notice the difference.

It just takes some getting used to is all. Once you have it down slightly- you won't go back.

I did state I would be willing to go semi-manual for this comp for the guys who are tentative to switch. It's still fairly assisted, but nowhere near as scripted as it is on default.
 
level playing field would be to play on the same settings if i guy uses semi or manual- plain and simple.

You've obviously had a lot of practice with manual and it probably is more fun but I don't think I will get used to it during my 1st few games resulting in losses for me and wins for you... I really didn't even know about manual Tbh. I was in do gaming league premier which I've realised is now Mickey mouse but it was always on automatic. I'd need some time to get little used to semi, then conquer manual. But I dont think I can compete against some one like you just yet cause I've never used manual but I would definitely like to master it. I hate losing and I just feel like a guy like you that has been playing on semi and manual for a while will definitely take the points that I wanna compete for fairly but I will definitely lose now as I've got no experience in manual

I cannot host the tournament if I cannot play. Also I don't like FIFA 14, for me FIFA 13 was better.

I think the new host should start the thread. I'll wait for Call of Duty Ghosts to get involved in a league again.

We can have a go at semi-assisted to start off with? Happy to hear you're so keen on improving your game. Impressive.

We could even practice with friendlies if you like?

I can take over if you're unable to play (very unfortunate press)- I'd also be happy to handle the monies but would still like assistance with the other guys keeping track of the league etc.

Exactly what settings do I change to manual? I see a few are assisted?
 
Let's not rush this if we're going to do it properly. Postponing the league start to next week will be a good idea. The entry fees can still be collected in time and the guys who have paid can begin to play by next Saturday.

Where you will have a whole week to get in at least two games. Running from Saturday to Friday to complete your games.

I will draw up a match fix list- you guys can decide on 1 or 2 games. I also say make it 10 min halves. As for settings, go with whatever you want. Players can decide between one another on match controller settings.

This will be league table setup. 3 points gives you a win, 1 a draw and you'll get nothing for a loss.

As for payment. I ask one of the other admin guys to maybe take over payment? I will more than be happy to help keep log and have updates. I'll do a google spreadsheet of some sorts if that suits the majority. You'll just have to keep me updated on game scores.

As for Man Utd being open. I say whoever wants it and posts it first- gets it, then their team goes back up for grabs.

Whose in? You can pm me and we can actually get this rolling who able and willing to play. Thank you Press for setting this up.

We can really get something good going.
 
I work shifts so I'd rather be happy if the week can start on a Monday and end on Sunday night?
I need Saturday and Sunday available cause sometimes I work the whole week night and won't be able to get a game in till weekend.

Had 2 games with jakkalas on semi and it wasn't that bad, didn't notice much difference.

Played against semi pro pc on manual and it was very different but I could get used to it but I'd need more practice.

Yeah I'm with vaaitjie on that, just let me know if anyone wants to play a friendly sometime, I've also went darkside and bought a ps3 so half the time I am going to be playing there
 
Can any one in joburg help me out with the original iso of fifa? Got me the digital copy but had to reinstall windows. Not enough data to download the game again. Even a link to the original iso would be fine cause I'd download it at work.
