I was successful in getting tickets for 6 games this time round. As yet, my credit card has not ben debited. I emailed FIFA and was informed that the debits should go off by last friday. On saturday I mail them again and was told I could do and EFT. I am happy to do this, but am concerned that they will still take the money from my credit card so I will pay twice. Who out there was successful with the 2nd round of applications and have you paid yet?
 
Got 6 games from 1st draw (and went of credit card as requested). Now almost broke ;) At least almost pay day.

Just pity we have to wait till 4 Dec 09 to see who we will see live with the tickets we have!

Wait till they charge you...
 
that's the problem, I want them to charge me! I want to make sure I have the tickets but they are being so slow and taking the money from my credit card, I am afraid that something goes wrong and I end up losing the tickets!!!

they gave me the same story last week and they haven't charged me nor sent me the email which they said would at least give me the banking details if they had problems with my card.

i take a little comfort that with the confeds tickets they did send an email saying payment could be made.
 
Yeah, I was also not charged yet.

And I also want to make sure that I pay and that tickets are in my hand.

Once the debit goes off from the credit card, what do you do then? Do you get the tickets from the same place as the Confederations cup tickets?
 
you'll only get your tickets next year from what i understand

LOL, no just joking, there's no way I'll spend that money on anything else.

Watched my first world cup at the age of 7 - that was the 1990 Italy one and been dreaming to go ever since.

I guess I'll just feel safer once the debit has gone off and the tickets are in my hands :D
 
my credit card was debited last week thursday. never have I been so happy to spend money!
 
Ok, but did they send you an email saying when and where you can pick up the tickets?
 
Ok, I had two payments go through from my credit card- the first was for two round of 16 games and the second for a quarter final and three group games.

However, on the FIFA website it says "application paid" for the round of 16 games and "application pending to pay" for the other four. And its been two weeks. Does anyone else have the same problem?
 
Damn, seems like i'm the only one struggling to get tickets.:o Again my application was unsuccessful. What am I doing wrong, wonder if they give preference to Visa cardholders :rolleyes:

Does anyone know if you can re-apply during phase 2, after your initial application in phase 2 was unsuccessful? Cause I got an email saying I was unsuccessful, but my fifa account says application still pending - so I cant make changes to the application online. tx
 
Thats weird kiepie. They deducted the full payment immediately when I accepted their "offer".
