Fifa chief halts goal-line technology

Bloater is possibly the worst Fifa president ever. The guy only opens his mouth or does anything to reaffirm his authority :o
 
I disagree, if the technology isn't ready for implementation, than it shouldn't be used.

While Blatter is a w*nker, I think he's done a good job as FIFA prez
 
all those options do sound needlessly complicated. Microchips? Please. Put stumpcams in the structure of the goal. Done.

Seriously doob? I know that. I think you should go read the article again.

FIFA does not develop these products. Private companies like Adidas and Hawkeye develop them. These companies may continue to develop them but until such time that they can demonstrate that their products will work, FIFA won't consider testing them again. In my opinion that's the right decision.
 
Blatter is an idiot and always will be from. From his idiotic ideas out trying to get restriction on clubs fielding foreign players to this. Trying to get the eu to see footballers as something else than normal employees with the same rights as everyone else.

And on the argument of the technology not being ready. The technology is ready if hawkeye is set up correctly it has an accuracy rating of 99% which is much higher than any referee. And Professor Hawkins on sky news on Friday said they can judge the flight of the ball when players are in the way so again Blatter is talking BS. Who should we believe someone who clearly doesn't like the game advancing or a scientist?

Blatter in the past said as long as he is Fifa pres no technology would be introduced so this is no surprise.
 
Blatters only ever had 1 decent idea and that was to make lady football players play in hot pants to attract viewership :D
