Hi everyone.
I hope this section is fine for my question.
I saw on takealot they had a 3 prong plug with 3 figure 8 power cords on it. But it is gone now, or I simply can't find it. I needed two, and when I had it in my wishlist, I was only allowed to order one.
Do any of you know where I can find a multi power cord like it? I am from Welkom, but going to Jhb this weekend.
My TV, Xbox One, PS4, Subwoofer and soundbar (so 5 items) all use figure 8 cords and I was hoping to minimize plugs. (I would be fine to have two plugs - keep the sound system seperate maybe).
If I can't find it at a store to buy, can anyone tell me if I would be fine to cut three figure 8 cords (not originals, will buy seperate ones) and add them to one high amp 3 prong plug?
We have installed various electrical stuff around the house before - lights, new plugs, put in new surfex, etc - but I rather want to make sure if it would be fine, before I do it. I know how to do it, to combine cables and insulate properly. Just not sure of the nitty gritty stuff.
(Please don't be nasty. I am asking rather than assuming)
Thanks in advance.
