You are waging your bet on the suspicion that no one will be able to get the claim details. I have news for you. Couple of people on here actually work in insurance and can pull that claim history. So just give the insurer and the claim number and we'll settle it once and for all.

ToxicBunny wants to complicate things, if you are happy with me supplying the claim number to confirm the 84k was paid as damages for said vehicle on stated date, then I would be happy to go ahead with the bet.

however I do require some sort of non disclosure agreement of sorts

I will supply the claim number if you accept it as evidence.

However you need to put down 10k

You know as a fact that you saw the letter, and the letter had the claim number. I'm looking at the pic I pasted on this forum so I can state that with the greatest of confidence that that is the case.

If you believe otherwise, put down 10k

No the claim number actually isn't since that would entail private details which an insurance company will not give out to random members of the public.

as for spam, yes the account was spammed, and the IT guy simply deleted it, you want an affidavit from the IT guy too?

No I'm not complicating things, I'm working within the letter of privacy laws etc... You have to provide the evidence as no insurance company will provide details to a random individual on a claim number. Period.

uhmm, I live in a building, with an IT guy, we work together on issues in the building since the other trustees are more clueless than me

at the time I was using the BC's email account (allocated to trustees), but then it started getting spammed frequently and then I abandoned it and he deleted it
