I have a claim number and a pic of the offer letter, and Pitbull offered his services, and then changed his mind

so theres that

Which is entirely meaningless... barring the pic of the claim letter but that is just borderline not meaningless...

Supply the things in this thread. Again, don't make it about me. There are brokers on this forum who can verify it in a second. This is your bed you made, I'm no part of it.

you made it about you, not me

you were the one that offered the services, and then you changed your mind

if someone is willing to agree to accepting the claim number as evidence (clearly ToxicBunny doesn't) and put down 10k then I would be willing to provide the details to a broker on this forum, provided its not someone like Splinter for example.

so you going with that as a fact that it was a Miway claim, is that how I understand it?

so Splinter is convinced its a RAF claim, and another one thinks its a Miway claim

anyone else want to try?

Where did I say I am convinced it is a RAF claim? I suggested it as one possibility among the conflicting and confusing info you provided :)

Was that they payout for the car, or was there other damages involved?

Well now, that would also be a pertinent question to ask....

In a 3rd party claim if I was rear-ended.. chances are my laptop would be damaged and thats a R30k item on its own to replace...

Ag, for f**ks sake, here's the letter.

Now can this f**king thread please be closed?

Oh my word. Thanks for this!

If anyone bothers to read it, a very pertinent line from it is "and particularly on account of all injuries, both to person and property"

Mystery solved. The devious and deceitful Mr Saturn did not feel it necessary to explain that the R84000 is for injuries suffered by him in an accident, and thus also why he was able to keep the car and sell the "wreck" - because it was not an insurance claim on the car itself!

You will most probably find he could not insure the car itself because of all the modifications done to it.

Good golly, the sheer deceit of all this!

injuries suffered? I was in hospital for how long that I incurred hospital expenses in the thousands of rands? so now I incurred injuries and lodged a claim at the RAF, and they paid out with dial direct?

lets not forget their initial offer was 10k...

*sigh*

like I said, evidence won't be accepted, so we continue...

Nobody accepts your statements because you don't answer a question straight out. Do that and people might just stop questioning your honesty. If the payout was only for the car, and you say so, I would be very surprised but I also have no reason to not believe you.
