Finder - Cut and Paste

Was about to install Xtrafinder but couldn't think of a compelling reason to. Mavericks has tabs, which I've disabled, copy/cut/paste have been etched into muscle memory, and I really don't want it to be more "windows like".

Unless I'm missing some super compelling reason?

What's all this logic doing in your question? It completely messes with my flimsy-karma-will-guide-you-no-real-reason-but-for-one-shortcut-key-combination-that-a-child-could-master approach! I mean, really!

:)

Agree re copy/cut/paste; prefer the OS X way & after having previously used Xtrafinder I personally didn't like Apple's tab implementation.

On Xtrafinder, these are the biggest benefits for me:
  • Dual panel (side by side layout for any two 2 tabs) -- simplifies file / folder actions.
  • Auto adjust width of column names -- makes working with long filenames easier, less need to manual adjust column widths.
  • Click any item in Path Bar to show / navigate contents -- simplifies navigating folder hierarchy.
  • Narrow tab view -- tabs use less desktop real estate than Mavericks default.
  • New Terminal Here -- I often work in terminal, and this just simplifies things a little.
