Finding someone at Afrihost that can help

Hey guys,

Does anyone know someone with any technical ability at Afrihost? I have been having a dispute for quite some time now over a za.net domain and I keep getting told that I need to contact TUCOWS or IAfrica or anyone but them about changing domain registration information. I have had several people try help me and eventually when they realize they cannot, they try escalate the issue to someone else who starts the whole process all over again.

Back in the day such a stupid trivial query would have been sorted out with a single email. Either I have stopped speaking English or the people that could help in the past now play golf somewhere else.

I have tried contacting the ZA.NET registrar directly for assistance a few times but I think all the email besides possibly registration related ones are simply blackholed.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

When I was a customer of theirs, I also had problems but eventually managed to get hold of a guy by the name of Aldo Ronchese- he was great. Not sure if he still works there but his email address is [email protected]

I'm sorry about the problems you're having here. Our people are very competent. Za.net domains can be tricky as (to my knowledge) they've changed registrars once or twice. But if we still manage the domain, we should be able to get this sorted.

Can you please drop me a PM with the ticket reference for the query you had, and I'll get this sorted out for you :)
