Firefly is back

Officer Nolan and Jessica Pearson? What on earth is going on here.

Heard a lot about Firefly but never watched it.
 
Firefly is by far my favourite Sci fi series ever. Fillion has been teasing something for a while and I think the official announcement is due for the 15th March. They had better not stuff this up. Still feels like a little to late. Ron Glass has passed on, many of the actors are very busy with other major projects. Still, here is hoping.

Yes, its still perfect as a once off.

It would be worse if they made something terrible and tacked it on to the series. Which almost always happens with this type of thing.

Its almost impossible to recreate the same atmosphere and vibe.
Hopefully they create something new that adds to the Firefly world, rather than takes away from it.

Ja I'm not one of those people who loved something 20 years ago and is excited about it coming back. Some things are meant to end and be what they were. Obviously I'll give it a go (same with Stargate) but I'm by no means excited about it. I tried the new X-files when it came out and realised that era was passed for me - couldn't get back into it.

Would prefer they left these old series alone and did something new.
