Riiiight
There were comics done which were pretty good.I don't know whether I would like this IP to be animated... Maybe it works out, and say it does, then I totally expect them to sell their uniqueness to the animation studio under some 'AI' agreement.

Weak. Unless it's going to be as good as The Legend of Vox Machina
Not sure where we as South Africans would have watched it.
Firefly originally aired in South Africa on SABC3 from 15 April to 22 July, 2003, on Tuesdays at 19h30. It aired as 15 episodes, to accommodate the two-hour premiere.
I don't remember watching it on TV, but at that time wasn't watching a lot of TV. But a friend got the dvds when they released. Borrowed themFirefly | TVSA
Firefly is an American space western television series created by writer/director Joss Whedon under his Mutant Enemy Productions. Set in the year 2517, after the arrival of humans in a new star system, it follows the adventures of the renegade crew of Serenity, a "Firefly-class" spaceship.<br /><brwww.tvsa.co.za
I think it was on ETV when I watched a bit of it the first time. I thought it was the biggest load of kuk ever.Bring back Lost!
Just kidding, I never watched Firefly (maybe one episode) despite being a big sci-fi fan. Not sure where we as South Africans would have watched it.
They have to hit the aesthetic just right to make it work.I don't know whether I would like this IP to be animated... Maybe it works out, and say it does, then I totally expect them to sell their uniqueness to the animation studio under some 'AI' agreement.
Which isn't a bad thing... Why the animosity towards animation? Go watch the Legends of Vox Machina, Mighty Nein is ok but not as good as Vox Machina. Or Castlevania on Netflix, hell even Archer, American DadAll that hype and its just cartoon bullshyte. Ugh.

Lol he is a normie when it comes to animation/anime. There is also stuff like edge runners. This season's shows, like sentence to be a hero, frieren, tells a different story demon slayer, promised neverland, ect in fact there is quite a few 16+ rated anime's, not all to do with lewdness, Samurai Champloo, Heavenly Delusion, Baki ect.Which isn't a bad thing...
