Firefox 3.5.4 Released!

Two days back on trying to open firefox browser I got the following message in a nice little box:

We're Sorry

Firefox had a problem and crashed. We'll try to restore your tabs and windows when it restarts.

To help us diagnose and fix the problem, you can send us a crash report.

I uninstalled 3.5.3 and installed 3.5.4 but to no avail , the same message appears and no browser. I tried custom install and the same result. IE works ok.

I know this forum recommends Firefox but can't even get it to work. Can't change any settings as browser won't open

Any suggestions

Wooptiedo another firefox update. Anybody else wishing they'd just save all their goodies for v4

Pretty Aero/Windows 7 things coming with 3.6 apparently. Anyone running the beta?

Move your profile to another location and try again. Looks like something got corrupted. You can copy back contents of the old profile one for one until you find the one that got corrupted.

please tell me it doesnt crash as much as 3.5.3
I always have the latest FF and it hasn't crashed. Once or twice it gets unresponsive with Adobe PDF viewer and you have to close it via the process list.

It's still bloatware, using the most resources in WinXp.

Killing the acrobat reader process would have saved you from killing FF.

it just freezes then doesnt respond then opens up a crash dialog box, does this up to 3 times a day. pisses me off!

SARS website doesn't like it.

Jip, but I think they did something special that only works in IE. Even if you download the PDF, then edit it with Acrobat and submit, it fails. So it "needs" IE for some reason.

that can't be right, I use chrome with not a problem.

ot, firefox still takes long to load & is a memory hog always number#2/3 after virus scan/prog on my pc.

I did scans found nothing, no worms, so not sure, but it seems to be behaving itself today.... touch wood
