my first gripe is that the last tab open has no close button... not even when you right click on the last tab. Sometimes I want to close the last tab for privacy sake or just tidiness... but leave Firefox open to finish the downloads. Try it. You can't close the last tab open. You used to be able to do that quite easily in Firefox 3.0.x

Does this provide a solution?

Ja, FF 2 is a bit outdated now in terms of web technology. But some people still drive 20 year old cars.

Bwhahahahahahahahaha

My lord, most browsers do the exact thing BROWSE.

Personal preference comes into play but comparing firefox to a 20 year old car is just laughable. I am a total pc geek but my lord people go nuts over simple browsers.

Very pi$$ed off. 3.5 has thrown away all my history and bookmarks.

The font handling under KDE looks 100x better. That alone makes it worth the effort of trying to recover my bookmarks.

[edit]managed to recover bookmarks, but history seems to be down the tubes :( [/edit]

Add-ons not working:
Exif Viewer
Color Management (not sure whether this is still necessary as the colour management within 3.5 has been updated).

Theme not working:
Oxygen

Had problems with FF 3.5 and efiling. The return doesn't open properly and downloading Adobe Reader worked initially but while I was busy with the return, FF crashed.

killa, I know it is sometimes very hard for you to refrain from displaying your ignorance, but please go and read up on how many and which web standards have evolved since FF3 was released.

It's kinda wierd. I have nothing against opera, chrome or safari, but everytime i try them, i end up with firefox.

me +1 :)

maybe I am too comfortable with ff but it has tons of features I don't find elsewhere

FF keeps throwing away my cookies after each session. Anyone have any idea where to look to fix this?
