Oh dear :p I wrecked the poll.. :o

Here's me voting "no" just to find out I'm the first out of 38 to do so.. :o

Just haven't bothered to download it yet.. :o

I see you have three friends on that no vote:D Edit:four friends.

[No, I'm not one of them - got FF 3 earlier today to go with my Opera 9.5 I downloaded the other day.]

SA finished off with 19428 - not bad at all:).

Edit: Or maybe not:o Lithuania had less than us at midday and they finished off with 273049:eek: and they have like 10% of our population.

Check IRAN, why so many? Almost 200 000

IRAN rocks my socks off! Well i should say their lack of copyright laws!!!:D you can buy compilation packages from high street retailers (or what passes for high street retailers in IRAN) that have just about everything ever on them. I know someone whose brother in law works for IRAN MTN, and brought back a four DVD set with close on a thousand programs all cracked or with clear instructions on how to do so. Even if you prefer legit software it makes performing a fresh install SOOOOO much easier!

and judging from the amount of downloads of firefox i'd say such free restrictions stimulate an educated computer society!

I downloaded fine. So far I haven't experienced the 15000 (or whatever it was) improvements.

Anyone have the exact figures of the download ?
It is way passed 24 hours..

Mozilla say that it'll take a week or so to come back to use with the official results. Downloading stopped yesterday night so expect offical results next week.

According to wiki: "8,249,092 unique downloads had been recorded"

funny when an internet company makes ppl wait a whole week 2 release results. reminds me of certain elections just a stonethrow from the limpopo...

Actually we all know the results. Tshwangarai (sp) won the elections fair and square. But there's no way in hell Mugabe is going down without a fight.
Back in the late 80's HV Verwoerd's conscience made him tell the snipers not to take Mugabe out. I'm starting to think his conscience should have allowed them...

Actually it is Guiness that are taking a week to verify the results of the record. Mozilla's count was around 8.6 Million downloads in the 24 hours.
