Does anybody else get taken to the French version of the Mozilla web site when you type www.mozilla.com into the address bar (using FF4)?

On first start after the upgrade, yea. But it didn't come back on the restart.

It's horrible on Windows XP.
Installed it on my office laptop and it hasn't stopped crashing yet. Can't get Chrome through the company proxy, so it's back to....um......Internet Exploder 8. Bummer.

I despise proxies. I've had much difficulty with proxies in the past with school proxies (which I worked around to unleash the full potential of 4x4mb lines) and my varsity's proxy.

Are you still using a beta version? Or have you upgraded to final yet? And is it still doing it in the final version?
Have you tried a COMPLETE uninstall (where you remove all traces of FF from your system in all locations) and then rebooted and re-installed?

No-No .... i'm on the final .... that post was from the beta times 
have not tried a complete uninstall/reinstall yet, but will soon ..... I just found it strange that I got the exact same error on two different PC's with completely different addons - 1 work & 1 home .... as a matter of fact, the work PC I think don't have any addon installed :erm:
well, lets hope a fresh install does the trick

well, lets hope a fresh install does the trick
OK, make sure you delete all traces in all three locations, even after you have done the automatic uninstall.

Oh well, NO luck with fresh install 
Uninstalled .... cleaned folders & registry .... restart ... reinstall .... came str8 here .... clicked on a 1post thread .... hit the back button .... GOT :twisted: .... thread still shows as unread.

i've noticed a number of you love the new layout of firefox!... But honestly firefox 4 is utter Sh~T Don't want the tabs at the top... manged to move that down. Some windows won't respond... double clicking the tab bar minimizes the screen instead of opening a new tab.... (Yes I know you have to click the + button next to the end tab... The bloody home page button is sitting on the far right... COMMON!!!... the refresh button and stop button is a rumor... took me forever to find it...
you guys enjoy it - i'm rolling back to 3.6 until the idiots who made firefox 4 catches a wakeup! I really don't have time for buggy software! On my laptop the thing keeps crashing. My other half's computer clicking anything on facebook or some other web pages like google don't do anything until you refresh it a couple of times... My pc much the same and its crashing when it feels like it..... Oh and dare you have two firefox sessions running... oh it becomes SO SLOW!....

I'm not having the crashing issues on my Macs, but I agree that the default layout is awful.

Think I am going to rollback as well - FF4 killed my gmail - super slow loading, multi-selecting messages and hitting delete button results in "nothing selected" message and then nothing happens - Aaargh indeed
Love the speed but this is killing me...
This new FireFox is the best effort yet. I love it. And the start up speed is much quicker than 3.6. The browser is way more responsive, loads pages very very fast and smooth. I could never get used to Chrome. And the other browsers around just does not provide the same productivity. So now I have a productive, smooth and fast browser. And FireFox still have the best extensions and extension developers around. Decent effort for FireFox 4.

I'm loving this browser, at least my pop-up stopper works on FF4. FF4 now default browser with Chrome and Opera as alternatives
