I suppose this means I need to make active of use of it for a bit to see if there is said massive improvement.

I was having insane slowdowns with FF - Turns out it's because I had hardware acceleration on. That being turned off recently along with this update, I gotta say - it's running like a damned dream.

I had this problem too, I found it was the Adware plugin that was killing it. Disabled it and wham...fast again. I'll now try the new 54 version...
