Last time I downloaded Chrome, the spell check didn't work properly. I still prefer Firefox. May switch to Chrome later on, but for now it still has too many bugs.

um, of those who develop for the web... or did you not read the article?![]()
Still not clear! They refer to this siteGranted, this is skewed towards developers
From the statistics below, you can see that Internet Explorer and Firefox are the most common browsers.
W3Schools is a website for people with an interest for web technologies. These people are more interested in using alternative browsers than the average user. The average user tends to use Internet Explorer, since it comes preinstalled with Windows. Most do not seek out other browsers.
These facts indicate that the browser figures above are not 100% realistic. Other web sites have statistics showing that Internet Explorer is used by at least 80% of the users.
Anyway, our data, collected from W3Schools' log-files, over a five year period, clearly shows the long and medium-term trends.
Chrome is great, never liked Firefox's bulkiness
Adverts are all blocked with my HOSTS file so thats not a problem![]()
Interesting, how do you block images/frames from particular websites using the host file?
dunno about frames... but you can get a pre-configured HOSTS file from here that blocks most advertising and malware sites...

Opera can be just as good as FF with Adblock (just get a hosts file and no adverts show).
I prefer Opera over all other browsers.
Comparing AdBlock to a host file is sort of like comparing GPS to a map.
