Yes, Personas has been around for a while, I think I may have installed the addon a while back when it was in it's infancy and wasn't too impressed. The fact that it's built in to the the browser now is great and the mouseover preview is instant (almost) which is very nice.

Also, it's dead easy to make a theme. Was thinking of quickly photoshopping a MyBB theme..

So yes, they have been around for a long time now. (that blog date goes back to December 2007) But you could have found that out by googling for ten seconds. Can we put this to rest now? ;)

Only if you stop feeling the need to point out to everyone that the breaking news of Nokia providing free voice navigation has already been broken.

When people start claiming that the new version of a browser is great because of a feature which has been around for over 2 years I cannot see why I should get shot down for pointing this out. I could've had my say and we would have all got on with out lives but Sheriff Gary had to come riding in on his horse...

Instant mouse over previews worked on 3.5 too... but I won't say it cos Gary will shout at me!

But was it integrated into the browser in 3.5 without the need for Personas Plus?

Anyway, moot point...

Ahh, yes and if everyone on here followed your advice we would actually not have a need for this forum! :rolleyes:

Out of interest.... if I came on here and told you about this great new TV I discovered which has the capabilities of showing HD TV would you leave it be or would you feel the need to point out that it has been around for two years?

Well i never knew it existed and i have used firefox for years, i have been using aero but i actually prefer this.

So i am glad a thread was made.

LOL FEO, lance the only oke in this thread with a horse is you man. Gary has his horse days as do many people i am sure but no doubt it your horse :D. Yihawwwwwwwwwwwwwww

Hey, I didn't once say there was anything wrong with these discussions about Personas it was merely the reference to this "new" feature that I was correcting/questioning.

No so then that makes it a new feature. Now they must just make it aero dammit :D

I never said i was tech savvy but i do know a new feature when i see one regardless if it used to be an add on , it is still a new feature.

You do not really need to be tech savvy to grasp the concept of a new feature.

The fact that you actually think there are winners and losers when it comes to online discussions/arguments says a lot about you.

EDIT : Anyway, enough about me, as much as it is a subject that interests you, Killa. Rather get back to playing around with this brand new Firefox feature and let the thread get back on topic.
