So pressing ctr + TAB cycles through open tabs, but is there no way of cycling back and forth between two tabs, like the effect that alt + TAB has when you normally do it...?

Well, if you click once on the tab itself you can use the arrow keys to navigate between the tabs. Not ideal, but at least it's something ;)

That just navigates me around in the screen...:(

How can there not be some add-on that lets me skip back and forth between two tabs? :(

Did you click on the tab itself, at the top of the page? Because mine then lets me navigate the tabs themselves...

ctrl+shift+tab goes in the opposite direction, dunno if that helps any :).

Oi! Less of that!

Also, it only works with the next-door tab as stated above. So if the two tabs are far apart it still is no good :(
