I don't know if its been mentioned here, but be sure to get the IEView (for those badly coded IE only sites), Forecastfox and Flashgot extensions.

I read somewhere about a plugin being developed for Firefox that will allow you to open and view a page in a tab using the IE engine. I have no use for it or IE at all though, I only ever use it to check windows update every few months.

Does anyone know why OpenOffice doesn't include a mail client, something to compete with Outlook?
The old StarOffice had an email client bundled with it, before Sun bought StarDivision and released OpenOffice.

Never used it, I used Netscape, and when Mozilla was released, switch over to Firefox and Thunderbird.

I use Thunderbird at home, but last time I checked, it still wasn't quite what I want for work.

I archive my important emails and over the years have a fair whack of them.
I've found that importing them all to Thunderbird makes it run very slowly.

...

Besides, Thunderbird still has some annoying things I don't like - the way it formats with the vertical line, the way it attaches images and other nigglies.
Have you tried PocoMail?

I've been using it for about 5 years now, and am unaware of anything which can match it. + Importing earlier emails from (in my case) Outlook Express was no problem at all.
