Hi, wanted to ask some questions:
1. I have bootloader 5.0.1.27t and firmware 5.0.1.66c, will this work fine? if not, how or where can i get both versions of the bootloader or/and firmware?

2. I originaly had firmware 5.0.1.27t on my modem, upgraded to 5.0.1.66c and then to 5.0.1.68m. After a couple o minutes i thought i was having a problem with the connection and downgraded to 5.0.1.66c again. I dont have the 5.0.1.27t firmware or i would compare with the others.

3. Can someone get us a site or something with all firmware once and for all.

4. I tried to install the modem on linux, im using slak with a 2.6.x (latest) kernel. It seems it's there by default, but when i try to use the modem it stays at "initializing modem" forever! (yes, i recompiled the kernel with that driver). Just one question, MUST i select the driver as a module or can i compile it directly into the kernel, and why?

Thanks for all you guys that keep beating it up!

To upgrade to the correct version you will first have to check your modem variant. There are a couple of different ones. On the dialler software you need to check the device tab on top to see this. Then get the firmware that is compatible. Try: ftp.nowire.co.za

Well, i would, but, a password is required to access the ftp!
Anyway, my modem is a p1d.
