I am updating my MiFi device (Afrihost).

it is stuck at 99%, the device is still working, and the internet is working, but i do not want to close the update screen cause it says you shouldn't.

it has been there for almost 5 minutes now.

what should i do?

after 20 minutes, i closed browser...

my device switched off **CRAP** ... wifi could not connect

.... gave it a few minutes, switched it on... walla... it is working, and my firmwares was updated

My update took about 3 minutes and went without a problem. I did notice an improvement in signal strength - from 3 bars to now 4. Would be great if there is any info about the content of the update, it just said "Afrihost update"

They embedded advertising that eats up your bandwidth.

On a serious note - AfriGuy, maybe post a change-log of whats new in update.
Don't know about others but i like to know these details.

It's a SkyNet update :p
I've just confirmed now though, it's just an graphics that have been updated. Nothing else.

Thanks, how about having a freezone for updates on the Afrihost Control Panel?

@MagicDude4Eva @IceQB - totally agree with a update change-log sometimes it isn't always necessary to update to the latest if just a few images will change etc.

Also on this topic now - are firmware updates zero-rated ? Other mobile SP allow free updates if it's firmware related etc.
