Howsit!

Well, I get a call saying that I must pay my telkom bill (11 days old at this stage) because "I" have exceeded my credit limit.

The due date on the invoice is 2 October.

Telkom has billed up to and beyond my R900 credit limit thanks to the initial installation and service charges.

Now heres the thing, when I ordered the ADSL (I had no existing lines or services to my new apartment), I was told that I would only be charged for the ADSL installation and not the line installation as it was an "all in one" job.

Now I see two sets of installation, one for basic telephony and one for DSL line.

Where do I stand on this? Has anyone had this issue?

Help...

The day you completed the Telkom application, you signed away all your rights, including your rights to a fair trial in a public court.

You know Telkom - the only efficient department is credit control and cutting of lines.

They have a massive legal department - so don't even try taking them on - they will ruin you financially.

So it is tough on you - pay up and shut up. :(

Signing with telkom is like befriending the devil:D
