You can use all of it since it is your money but you can only claim R750 for a fitness device. So the math for a R2500 device is as follows; using the medical aid you still pay R2500 with R750 coming from your savings and the the Healthy Gear Route (25% back if your are platinum) you end up paying R1875.

I don't own a fitness tracker but I however own a Garmim Swim, Edge 200 and FR70 so the fitness tracker is only on my todo list if the target gets a bit to high for my liking. I really wish I can replace all these devices with a Garmin Fenix 3 though which makes more sense than an Apple Watch for a fitness perk.
 
That makes that option the winner if you want to pay as little cash as possible.
 
Tried to buy the Charge HR yesterday they only had a size small, gonna try the other dischem here in Bloem
 
Didn't go through all the comments, but I have a fitbit charge. Using it since February.

My experience so far: a pain to charge it every 5 days. Problem is you forget, then it is dead when you actually want to use it. But it charges quickly, like 30min to almost full.
The tracking is good, if you use the app and add you weight and all the other stuff, it is very useful.
I willrecommend it.

I work in Kempton, I tried the same ones beside benoni, but I have been to Festival mall. I want to know where it has one, so that I can cane my medical savings. Sitting on 3 grand in it. Then the remainder is for piece of mind

Love my polar loop. Teamed it up with my bluetooth heart rate monitor and it is even beter. The loop 2 has been launched. I'm envious.
 
There's no point in getting a tracker of it does not measure hr.
