an entire handful of competitors on the way, and you give us jesus on a stick and some crappy anime? Multichoice is going to get owned by the newcomers me thinks. Oh and ps stop using the same freaking designer on every channel, the whole thing is turning very stale, branch out a bit ffs.

Nah read the fine print "Only available on North Indian bouquet."

The SET channel should be something akin to the Mnet channel (minus Egoli & Binnelanders). Sitcoms, one or two prime time shows and a movie or two.

Not to burst your bubble there but Animax is a premium channel in Japan.
Not sure if they will show the same thing here, probably not, but
there is no other English anime channel broadcasting worldwide. There
are a couple in the US but they only do broadcasts there.

Personally I don't care. I have limited time so I pick and choose what anime shows or Criterion Collection movies I watch. However there are many
anime fans in this country who don't have broadband internet or
big paychecks and would like to see more exotic Japanese animation
without having to pirate or buy it.

As for a religious channel, don't watch it.
