Five reasons to try IE8

Compatibility View is a feature?

Seems to me like it is MS just trying to fix something that it broke in an earlier version.

useless!!!!!! wish you could delete it somehow, Im happy with google chrome

Well it is IE for me considering FF keeps crashing. Chrome is great, but a memory hog.

WebSlices, ClickJacking, the developer of a website does, however, need to define.....

I thought they were starting to comply more with standards (W3C). Their own standards, perhaps.

I've got Chrome, Opera, FF2, FF3, IE7 with and IE Tester(for IE6) and Safari... Yay, another browser to add to that list... They days of the web developer just keep getting better.

I'll stick with IE. People using FF seem to suffer from bad attitudes.

I can give you 7 reasons not to try it.

Internet Explorer 1
Internet Explorer 2
Internet Explorer 3
Internet Explorer 4
Internet Explorer 5
Internet Explorer 6
Internet Explorer 7

Wasn't it IE4 that beat FF's forefather into humble submission

Ok, not convinced, will stick with FF and my attitude, thanks!

Ok, mabey I was a little harsh. It's just weird how the FF users will swarm a IE thread and try to bash the living hell out of it. To be honest I tried FF, but is was nothing special. As a software developer there is just no way I can say no to IE, as it allows for effortless development.

I've wasted many hours cleaning up dirty/deprecated and non-compliant html and Javascript produced by some of those "effortless" products. FrontPage was one example. Thank goodness I don't have to touch anything that's related to M$ any more.
