Five smartphones to consider (November 2011)

Meh, too mainstream.

I'll wait for the Nokia 701 or 700. They got very favorable reviews and obviously running Symbian Belle has many advantages.

Maybe what Tarrant was suggesting is that e-mail on a Blackberry is better because you have a physical keyboard on which to reply. In that respect I don't argue with the man, I haven't seen a nice android with a physical keyboard for a while, Desire Z's and such (don't mention the HTC cha-cha!).

However, what really baffles me is how he is able to say that the iPhone 4s is a big upgrade over the 4, they run the same OS. Siri seems like a novelty, and I am not so sure how many people would appreciate you conversing with your phone around company.

Cell C has a great deal. The s2 for R280 a month, includes 100 anytime minutes. The s2 is an amazing phone, and kills the rest. Thats when it comes down to taste and the reason for the phone. Some people love BB, I personally hated mine. I love the iphone, but after seeing the s2 I had to have it.

+1

Dont get the SGS2 from Vodacom. Cell C's deal is so much better.

Im really impressed with Motorola lately, they have risen from the dead and now are set to launch the Razr, which looks pretty impressive.
I will never forget the original Razr's initial impact on the market.

OMFG. Is this idiot punting his stupid article that he wrote a few months ago, again? Good Lord. That guy is retarded.

I am actually getting the Razr, it is a very nice phone, very well balanced for my needs.

Or rather wait until June, or September or December 2012 ... In fact if you can, wait until 2013, by then the phones with the folding screens should be out ... or in fact, wait until about 2016 if you can, the resolution should be amazing and probably 8 core processors so you know you won't have yesteryears technology :erm:
Lol, plus 1000000.

Motorola is touting the “upgradeability” to the new version of Android (4 or “Ice Cream Sandwich”) as a reason to buy the Razr. But, consumers don’t buy operating systems.
I'm not sure what he was trying to say here...
Why all the Moto hate?

hahaha duuuude. This is hilarious. You have a valid point though

So which is the best for actually phoning people :erm:

+1. Pathetic. If you're reviewing phones, best to keep a micro fibre cloth to wipe the screen (http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php/379069-Cleaning-a-Touch-Screen-Device)

But all the others where marketing shots so why not the same for HTC?

Edit:

Here is his post on Moneyweb. What a f*****g idiot. Read the comments and his responses to them http://www.moneyweb.co.za/mw/view/mw/en/page292671?oid=555294&sn=2009+Detail+no+image&pid=287226

I see the original didn't have any photos - so MyBB added in the photos?
